Meet Scar!! He is a stunning, 1-year-old Black Whippet mix. He currently weighs about 18 pounds. Scar came into our rescue from a local shelter where he was placed in the night drop box. Scar is exceptionally sweet, smart, and very eager to please. He has had very little structure and needs to learn to be a good family member. Scar will take a very loving, patient home who understands he is a puppy. Scar will greatly benefit from obedience training. He needs to learn boundaries, rules and limitations. He is VERY affectionate and loves attention. Scar is excellent with cats. He gets along great with other dogs. Scar LOVES everyone, including children. We have had Scar neutered, heartworm tested, given all of his vaccinations including DHLPP and Bordetella, rabies, and have started his on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. He is completely house and crate trained. He will make some family a great furry family member! The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
