Meet Genie!! She is a Yorkie mix. Genie is about 1 1/2 years old, and weighs about 8 pounds. Genie is a wonderful little girl but has a very, very high energy level typical in the Yorkie breed! She is friendly, and loves attention. She loves to play and run. Genie will benefit greatly from obedience training and socialization. She is house trained but does have accidents, also very common of Yorkies. Genie is crate trained. Genie gets along great with other dogs. She does not do well with young kids, young children have proven to be too much for this little girl. Genie walks well on a leash leash but continued work and training is necessary. Genie will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make someone a great little furry member!! Because of her small size, she will need to go to a family with children 12 years or older. Most toy and small breed dogs do not do well with young children. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
