Meet Buddy! He is a 7 month old, believed to be pekingense/shih tzu mix. He is small, weighs about 20 pounds and may be 25 pounds fully grown. He is a very sweet, loving puppy. He does shed a little though so we are not sure of his true breed. And Buddy is all puppy! He has very sharp puppy teeth and is a bundle of energy. Buddy came to us from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. Buddy would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. He is working hard on house training and crate training. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! Due to his smaller size, he will do best in a home with older children. Typically, small breed dogs and small children are not a good match. The adoption fee is $150.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
