Meet Duffy! He is believed to be a shih tzu/terrier mix and about 2-3 years old. He is very small, weighing about 10 pounds. He is a very sweet, loving dog. He enjoys snuggling. He came to us from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owners. He is friendly and loves attention. He would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. He is house and crate trained with the occasional accident. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He will need to go to a home without children under the age of 8 due to his small size. He walks well on a leash. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. he will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
