Meet Diesel! He is a Border Collie mix. Diesel is about 8 months old and came to our rescue from a local shelter. Diesel is very typical of a Border Collie, he has lots of energy to run and play. He is incredibly smart and learns things very quickly. Diesel does require daily exercise to expend some of his Border Collie energy. Just look at his sweet face! Diesel is house and crate trained. Diesel gets along with other dogs, cats and children. In very typical Border Collie fashion, Diesel will herd. This is very common of Borders as it is an instinct for the breed. He would be best suited to a household that is more active, and the family wanted a pet that is eager to play or work. He likes to be outdoors. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, tag, training DVD, and vaccination record.
