Meet Amy!! She is a sweet, shy 4 year old Shih-Tzu. She currently weighs about 12 pounds. Amy came into our rescue from a puppy mill. She was so matted and her hair so long, there was no choice but to shave her completely down. Amy is exceptionally sweet, smart, and very scared and confused right now. It will take some time for her to come around but she does wag her tail and seem to want effection. Amy gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained and working on house training. She is also learning what a collar and leash are. Amy will need to go to home with older children, 8 years or older. She will make some family a great furry family member!! The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
