Meet Sammy! He is about 1 1/2 years old and is a Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix. Sammy was rescued by a loving lady who talked is owner into allowing us to find him a new home. Sammy was chained to a tree with a log chain. Look at his precious face. He was cold, and hungry. He really is quite the lover. He just wants to lay as close to a person as possible. He is learning the basics, lay down, sit and come. He has never gone to the bathroom in the house. He gets along great with cats, other dogs, and loves children, including a 4 year old in his foster home. He still has a very "puppy" attitude about alot of things and he is VERY smart. The word easy before a treat keeps your fingers intact! He does shed but brushing him out for a few minutes a day helps with that and he does like it. The adoption fee is $200.00. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery. Current DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies (if old enough) vaccinations. Heartworm test (if old enough), heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention treatment, and de-worming treatment. He will go home with a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD and his vaccination record.
