Meet Grace!!  She is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix.   Grace currently weighs about 9 pounds and is full grown.   What Grace’s foster Mom says about her.  “She is such a sweetie.  She is a little timid at first, but warms up.  She’s good with other dogs…even larger ones!  She’s good with kids.  When there are a lot of people all at once she has a bit of a hard time and will growl a little, but she doesn’t bite at all.  Not even while playing.  She loves her squeaky toys and running after the ball.  She runs all over the place is really playful.  I’m not sure how she would do alone.  She loves the other dogs.  She is small, so she’s usually cold and of course wants to snuggle.  She’s been having a few accidents that I attribute to her being recently spayed.  She knows she’s in trouble and goes to her crate when we notice.  She’s in a crate all day, but sleeps on our bed at night to stay warm.  Even when she’s done something bad, we try not to yell at her. I think she’s had some trauma/abuse and gets scared when someone yells.  She’s good with her crate.  She doesn’t whine or anything.  Sometimes she just goes in there and hangs out!”  She will make some family a great furry family member!!  The adoption fee is $250.00.   The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
