Meet Sunny!! She is a gorgeous pure bred yellow Lab. She is one year old and weighs 70 pounds. She is considered to be full grown. What her foster Mom says “Sunny is an exceptionally sweet and happy dog. She is smart and learning basic commands like sit, stay, come, outside. She loves belly rubs, fetch, and playing tug with her foster dog brother. We recently had to take our dog to the vet and left Sunny alone in her crate. She became very anxious and tried to break out. She does fine when left alone with our dog. I think she needs the companionship of another dog. We are working to correct the cat chasing. She has never had an accident in the house and if it wasn’t for the chasing the cat I would feel comfortable leaving her uncrated while we are gone. She walks nicely on a leash”. We are unaware of her ever injuring a cat but she loves to chase them so a family without cats is preferred. She recently got her tail caught in a door. Her tail is healing well. Her tail will require protective padding and bandages until her hair grows out. She is house and crate trained. Sunny will make some family a great furry family member!! The adoption fee is $200.00. Her adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
