Meet Sonja! Or as our little one would say Zonja.  She is almost a year old,  weighs 45 pounds and could weigh 60 pounds when full grown.  Sonja was surrendered by her owner and is becoming a well behaved dog.  She is housebroken and crate trained.  Just tap on the top of her crate, say come on Sonja, and in she goes.  She loves to play ball, chew on Kongs and sticks, and go for walks.  While on a walk, Sonja will stop when you stop walking and sit at the corners with a pull on the leash.  She enjoys playing with children, bounding after birds, and socializing with other dogs.  Sonja has lots of energy.  More obedience training would help strengthen her bond with a new owner.  Sonja will make a great furry family member! The adoption fee is $150.00.   Her adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
