Meet Skippy! He is about a 2 year old Chihuahua mix. He is very small and weighs about 9 pounds. He is a very sweet, loving dog.  He enjoys snuggling. Skippy came to us from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. He is a wonderful little boy.  He is friendly and loves attention.  He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He will make some family a great little furry member!!   What Skippy’s foster Mom says. “Skippy is such a sweetie!  He just follows my husband around the house.  He likes to snuggle to keep warm.  He will stay in a crate, but he'll make some noise when you first put him in there.  He'll growl at the other dogs sometimes, but he's harmless and I think just has little man's syndrome. :)  He LOVES to eat and will sneak into the other dogs bowls if he can.  He likes to play with people, but not so much with toys.   He would be perfect for an older person or a family that is often at home.  He just LOVES being around people and climbs all over them all the time.” The adoption fee is $200.00.  The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
