Meet Ginger!! She is believed to be a Pug/Chihuahua mix. She is absolutely an adorable dog. Ginger is estimated to be about 2 1/2 years old, and weighs about 12 pounds. She came to our rescue from a local shelter where she was surrendered by her owner. Ginger was very pregnant and gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies on Dec 1st. Ginger is full grown and will not get any bigger. She loves to walk, run, and play. Ginger will benefit greatly from obedience training as do all dogs. She is now completely house and crate trained. Ginger gets along great with other dogs and kids. She is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Ginger will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
