Meet Gunner!! He is believed to be a beagle/terrier mix. He is energetic, free spirited, rambunctious! Gunner is estimated to be about 1 years old, and weighs about 18 pounds. He is full grown and will not get any bigger. He loves to play, sometimes rough with other dogs. Needs a playmate of equal size/energy level. Prefers to chase cats, best in a home with no felines. He is working on indoor manners such as playing gently with his human friends and being a good playmate with his canine friends. Crate training in progress - will stay in for a few minutes at a time while whining. Prefers to co-sleep at night. Housetrained. Will need a privacy fenced yard as he is a high jumper. He needs excellent role modeling from all of his family. Recommend a home without very young children. Needs a family with a loving disposition willing to work with his high energy needs. He will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $150.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
