Meet Tasha!! She is a beautiful black and tan German Shepherd who is just a 1 year, 10 months years old. Tasha has not had a good life thus far. Born in a breeding kennel, was sold to a pet store in Illinois and after not getting sold there was returned to the breeder. Her life in the last year and half is a mistery but Tasha came to us from a shelterwhere she was left if the depository. Tasha weighs about 55 pounds But is a bit under weight. She will not get any bigger, but should put on 8 to 10 pounds. Tasha is very friendly, sweet and loves attention. Tasha will benefit greatly from obedience training. She is completely house and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs, but is a bit dominant. She is ok cats and older kids. She walks very well on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Tasha will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy as she is still a very young dog herself. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
