Meet Captain!! He is a beautiful, approx 10 month old, Yellow Lab mix. He currently weighs about 65 pounds, and could reach 75 pounds when full grown. Captain came into our rescue from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. He is currently learning boundaries, rules and limitations in his foster home and is doing beautifully!! He is VERY affectionate, outgoing dog who loves attention. Captain gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is house and crate trained. Captain needs work on walking on a leash as he will pull. He will make some family a great furry family member!! Captain would do best in a home without toddlers or very young children. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
