Meet Sweet Stewart!  Stewart is possibly a Shepherd mix, it is really hard to tell.  One thing is for sure, he is very cute!  He is approximately 8 weeks old and weighs about 7 pounds.  He could be about 40 pounds full grown. Stewart was surrendered to a vet after he was dumped on someones property.  Stewart is neutered, micro-chipped, wormed, received flea and heart worm medication as well as his first puppy shots.  Since Stewart is a young puppy, he needs help learning all appropriate house manners including crate and potty training.  Stewart is working hard on potty training though, and is responding well to a feeding and potty schedule.  Stewart would greatly benefit from a puppy obedience class.   He gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids.  Stewart's adoption fee is $300.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
