Meet handsome Kota!  He’s one sweet little guy, the most laid back and quietest of his litter!  Pick this little guy up, and you better be ready for puppy kisses and cuddles! Kota is a 7 week old Chesapeake Bay Retriever/German Shepherd mix.  His mother was 47 pounds and his dad was 75 pounds, so Kota may be up to 75lbs when full grown.  Kota and his brothers and sisters were surrendered by their owner in hopes that they would find great homes.  Kota is working on house and crate training, and making wonderful progress.  He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids of all ages.  He has been handled by young children since he was a few days old, and responds well to them.  Kota will make a great family pet!  He will be neutered on June 10^th and will be ready for his new home on June 11^th.  The adoption fee is $300.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
