Meet Rue!  She is a six week old Basset Hound/German Shepherd mix.  She came to the rescue with her mom, Abby, and 5 brothers and sisters from a local animal shelter.  Rue currently weighs about 4 pounds and could be 30 pounds full grown.  As with any puppy, she has sharp baby teeth and careful supervision with young children will be needed.  We highly recommend puppy obedience classes to continue socialization and support as you and your puppy work to establish boundaries and appropriate house manners.  Her adoption fee is $300.  She will go home with a spay certificate.   The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
