Meet Dayzee!! She is a beautiful pure bred fawn Boxer. Dayzee is approximately 1 1/2 years old, and weighs about 40 pounds. Dayzee came to our rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. She does suffer with s severe food allergy to corn. This will require Dayzee to be fed a "grain free" food to keep her healthy and happy. Dayzee is good with other dogs, but may be bossy or pushy if allowed to be. If placed in a home with another dog, she will need to be placed with a non dominent dog. She is a bundle of Boxer energy. She is very affectionate and loves to play. She thinks she is a lap dog! She is crate trained & house trained but would benefit greatly from obedience training and socialization and to be the good family member she has the potential to be. She does walk on a leash but needs more work at this as well. She likes to go for rides in the car. She sleeps in her crate at night. Dayzee will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
