Meet Rosie! This sweet precious little girl is believed to be a Yorkie mix. She is around 5 years old and weighs only 5 pounds. Rosie came to us from a wonderful person who rescued her from a horrific condition. She was bred for years and then left tied on a chain to a porch swing. The vet feels that she was repeatedly kicked in the head and is therefore blind in one eye and has lost teeth on one side of her mouth. We are having a dental done on the remaining teeth and she is able to eat well. You would never know she was abused so badly, as she is the sweetest little dog you could find! She is house and crate trained. Rosie just wants a family to love her as much as she will love them! Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
