Meet Spanky! He is a 6 week old Vizsla/Boxer mix puppy. He will not be ready for his new home till January 29th, but we are accepting applications at this time. He came to the rescue with his littermates and mother, Loretta from a local shelter. Loretta is a Vizsla mix and we have no clue as to what breed Dad was. Spanky is currently being introduced to crate and house training in his foster home. He will be neutered before going to his new home. He will need supervision with young children, as he will have sharp puppy teeth. We always suggest attending puppy obedience training, as it helps to lay a healthy foundation for boundaries and communication in the home with your new furry family member. His adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
