Chihuahua (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small Learn more about the Chihuahua.
Meet Amelia! She came into the rescue from a local shelter where she was dropped off. Amelia is believed to be a speckled chihuahua mix estimated by the vet to be around 1 year old. She is a friendly and a typical small dog! She is pretty much house trained and is crate trained. She will make some family a great furry family member! Being a small dog care will need to be taken if Amelia is adopted into a home with younger children. Young children and small dogs do not always do well together. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
