Meet Missy!! She is believed to be a Havanese mix. Missy is estimated by the vet to be about 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 20 pounds. She came to us from a local shelter where she was surrendered to her owner. She is very sweet and enjoys being with people. She is learning to walk well on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Missy is house and crate trained, though she prefers to not be in the crate. She can be left out and is not destructive. Missy is a typical smaller dog and so care would need to be taken if adopted to someone with children, older children would be best. Missy is still adjusting to her new life and will need a quiet home with a patient owner. She has a lot of love to give but cannot be in a busy household. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
