Meet Max! He is believed to be a Cattle Dog mix estimated by the vet to be around 1 year old. Max weighs about 23 pounds and could be about 25 pounds full grown. Max came to our rescue from a local shelter. He is very sweet but is a very high energy puppy who is ready for a job to do or play ball!! Max would make a great agility dog!! Considering his high energy level, Max would do best with older childeren (8 years or older). He is both house and crate trained. He does well with, he may be shy at first but once he warms up, he is your buddy for life. He is great with other dogs, is friendly, active and loves to be pet! Max rides well in the car. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash but continued work is needed. Max will benefit greatly from obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations at home it will also help make him a better family member. He will make someone a great active small furry family member! His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
