Meet Kya! She is believed to be a Shepherd/Hound mix and approximately 3 years old. She is house and crate trained. She came to our rescue from a Kentucky shelter where she was dropped off pregnant. Kya had 10 gorgeous puppies and is now ready for a home of her own! She can be a little shy at first but warms up nicely. Kya enjoys other dogs and will be learning to walk nicely on a leash. As with all dogs, Kya will benefit greatly from attending obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home with your new furry family member. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
