Meet Sophie! She is believed to be a miniature poodle mix and approximately 1.5 years old. Sophie is about 5 pounds and is full grown. She is almost fully house trained and is crate trained. She came to our rescue from a local shelter where she was left with a horrible flea infestation. Due to all the fleas, she has lost some hair and the groomer is continually working to remove mats. Her hair is starting to grow back and will continue to grow in completely. Sophie enjoys other dogs and will be learning to walk nicely on a leash. As with all dogs, Sophie will benefit greatly from attending obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home with your new furry family member. Sophie loves people and loves being a lap dog. She is super sweet! Her adoption fee is $250. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
