Meet Foxy! She is believed to be a oure bred Pom and approximately 8 years old. You would never guess she was 8 years old by how active she is!! Foxy is about 10 pounds and is full grown. She is house and crate trained. She came to our rescue from a local shelter where she was dumped due to a bad infestation. Her fur had to be shaved but is coming in nicely and her skin is healed. Foxy enjoys other dogs and will be learning to walk nicely on a leash. As with all dogs, Foxy will benefit greatly from attending obedience training to establish much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home with your new furry family member. Foxy does better with children over the age of 8 years old. Foxy is starting to form a cataract in one eye but can still see fine. The vet said this is slow growing and should not affect her quality of life. Her adoption fee is $100. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
