Meet Ruby! She is believed to be a Pit mix. She is about 30 pounds at 5 months and could possibly be 50 to 55 pounds full grown. She came to us from a local shelter. Ruby is very smart and eager to please. She has already learned sit, stay, come, leave it, wait, touch, and waits on command to eat. She is working on leash manners with the gentle lead. She's great with cats as well. She knows what's okay to chew on, that has been her biggest success. Ruby is both house and crate trained. She is absolutely adorable, very sweet, full of energy and ready to play!! As with all puppies, Ruby will benefit greatly from attending puppy training for both good socialization and to begin establishing much needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home. She will make someone a great but active furry family member! Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
