This sweet little guy is Dante. He is believed to be a Catahoula Leopard dog mix. He is about 7 pounds and is 7 weeks old. He came to us from a local farm with his sister Eve. He was kept outside without ample water and food. Fortunately his owner has given him a chance at a better life through adoption. We believe he could be 40-45lbs. when full grown. He is neutered and mircro chipped. He will be working on crate and house training. He is absolutely adorable, very sweet, full of energy and ready to play!! As with all puppies, Dante has very sharp, needle like teeth that find little things very fun to nibble on. He would do best in an active home. As with all young dogs, he will benefit greatly from attending dog training for both good socialization and to begin establishing needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home. He will make someone a great but active family member! His adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
