This precious little girl is Lucy. She is believed to be a pure bred chihuahua. She is only 5 months old and weighs approximately 4 pounds. She will only get to be about 6 pounds when full grown. She came to us from the local shelter. She is spayed and current on all shots. She is house trained. Lucy is very timid and will need someone patient with her to let her adjust. Once she bonds with you she will be your best lap companion erver. Being a small very young dog, Lucy has very sharp little teeth that find lots of things to chew on. She is absolutely adorable, very sweet, full of energy and ready to play!! As with all young dogs, she will benefit greatly from attending dog training for both good socialization and to begin establishing needed rules, boundaries, and limitations in the home. It is always best with a small dog to have children in the home that are at least 10 to 12 years old and up. She will make someone a great furry family member! Her adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
