This pretty girl is April! She is a 2 year old cattle dog mix that weighs about 45 pounds. She is a really nice dog for someone looking for dog that is bigger than a lap dog but yet not to large. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. April is a little shy at first but once she gets comfortable she is very playful, intelligent, and likes other dogs. She needs a little time to adjust to new people and things. She is house and crate trained. She knows several commands such as sit, down, stay, wait, leave it and roll over. She loves to play ball. She would do best in a home with a yard and daily exercise. She would also do best with children over 8. She came to us from a local shelter and is looking for a forever home. April would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with socialization and house rules. April is great on a leash and loves her daily walks. Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
