This is Tess! She is a 1 year old pit bull terrier mix that weighs about 40 pounds. She is a little under weight and should be around 50 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Tess is working on walking well on a leash. She is anxious and nervous around other dogs but her foster mom is working on this with Tess. She is also ok around cats. She is house and crate trained. She is from the local shelter and is now looking for her forever home. She would do best in a home with a yard and daily exercise. Tess would benefit greatly from attending an obedience class to help her with socialization and house rules. She is very timid around new surroundings and needs to gain confidence. Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
