Meet Cocoa! She is a beautiful German Shepherd mix. She came into the rescue with her 2 brothers and one sister. Cocoa and her siblings came from a high-kill shelter in Georgia where they had been found after being mistreated. Cocoa is a fantastic, very sweet and affectionate girl. House trained - walks well on a leash - not very fond of little people - a little skiddish when people wear hats. Very calm with the family. Rings a bell to go outside or barks if you don't respond. Crate trained. Goes back to crate when she knows it's time to go to bed or leaving for work. Very comfortable with crate. loves to be petted and will lay at the end of your bed and will relax with you. Will lay down on her back while you dry off her paws after being outside and will wait until you are all done drying her off before she walks away. She loves to be in the same room as you.
The adoption fee is $200.00. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery; current DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies (if old enough) vaccinations; heartworm test (if old enough), heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention treatment, and de-worming treatment. She will go home with a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, and vaccination record.
