This is Ozzy! He is a 1 1/2 year old beautiful Flat Coated Retriever mix that weighs 42 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. He is house trained. His foster family is working on crate training. Ozzy has probably never been around other dogs and isn't sure how to play and respond but he is getting lots of practice. He does do well with cats. He would do best with a home that has a yard and plenty of exercise. He will make someone a wonderful companion. Ozzy is working on house manners and he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help with socialization and establishing house rules. He is smart and eager to learn but needs someone to be consistant and firm with their instructions. He came to us from a local shelter. His adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
