This is Daisy! She is a 9 week old Miniature Aussie/Sheltie mix that weighs about 4 pounds and could be 25 pounds when she is full grown. Daisy came to us with her 5 siblings. Their owner realized that they could not continue to live in the cold barn until homes were found for them so, they put them in our rescue to give them a warm foster home. We will have her spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. We will work with them on house training and crate training. Daisy will be an active girl that will require daily exercise to expend her energy so a home with a yard would be great. She will be a fun dog to train for activities such as fetching and frisbee catching. She will make someone a great new family member and companion. Like all puppies, she would benefit greatly from attending an obedience class to help her with socialization and learning house rules. She has sharp little teeth that find lots of things to chew on and will require supervision and appropriate chew toys. Her adoption fee is $400. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
