Bernese Mountain Dog (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : X-Large Learn more about the Bernese Mountain Dog.
This is Bowser! He is a 3 year old Bernese Mountain dog that weighs 90 pounds. He is a bit under weight and should be 100+ pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is house and crate trained. He loves to be outside and was outside most of his first couple of years until he was rescued from owners that really didn't get the size and work that a large dog like Bowser would take. He likes to play with other dogs but is definitely a dominant boy and will be the boss of the playground. Bowser's dominant personality leads him to challenge authority. Bowser has and will use his mouth to express his unwillingness to comply if he chooses not to. He will need a strong pack leader and is NOT good with small kids. He needs some work on leash walking. He would do best in a home with 12 and over kids and a yard so that he can get daily exercise. He will make someone a great new and active family member. His adoption fee is $350. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
