Coonhound / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Large Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.
This is Georgia! She is a 2 year old believed to be Coon Hound/Lab mix. She weighs 63 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. She is house and crate trained. She loves people, children, and is ok with other dogs. Georgia is a pretty laid back girl. She is super sweet and really just is looking for someone to love her. We think she recently had some puppies but we don't know about them. She is learning many basic commands and walks ok on a leash. She doesn't get on the furniture or chew on inappropriate things. Her foster says that she is a gentle soul that hasn't ever really been loved. She would benefit greatly from attending and obedience class to reinforce her basic commands and to help her with socialization and learning house rules. She came to us from the local shelter. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $250. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
