This is Cleaver! He is a 2 year old Beagle. He weighs 20 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. He is house trained. He does not like to be crated but doesn't seem to need to be as he is not destructive. He came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. He is good with people and we would recommend children over 8 as he has not been around little ones, however his foster is working with him and he is becoming much more comfortable with small children. He is a typical Beagle that loves the outdoors and will let his nose take him. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard. He is good with other dogs. He enjoys playing with toys and is treat motivated. Cleaver would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. His adoption fee is $250. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
