This is Dempsey!  He is a 10 month old Labrador Retriever mix.  He weighs 80 pounds and could be 85 when full grown.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped.  He is house and crate trained.  He came to us when his original family felt they didn't have enough time for him.  He is a very active boy and he loves to play ball.  He would do best in a home with a large fenced yard so he has plenty of room to play.   He is good with people, children and other dogs.  Dempsey would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization.  He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member.  His adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
